I normally don't do this, but I know it can be very helpful if you have trouble visualizing what it can look like on a whole wall. Last but not least, find a friend that has an eye for color and ask for help. But do remember that it is only paint and can be changed fairly easy.
By the way if you have picked a color and want to paint this weekend Sherwin Williams is having a sale this weekend. (no, they did not pay me to say this)
And valspar has this on their facebook page too
Hi Debbie!
ReplyDeleteYour Paint Series is awesome! Great advice!
I have your pumpkins finished! I'm sending your pumpkins off today!
Have a beautiful day!

My mom is moving into a new condo next week. I'd like to paint a wall or two a blue color to match some window treatments I made for her. Now I just have to decide which wall(s). Do you have any tips about that, Debbie? Hugs, have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteI am using your tips... can't wait to pick a color for my kitchen! I have bought the sample sizes but they are kinda costly!
ReplyDeletePerhaps I will get my hiney busy and get it done before Easter:) BIG HUGS!
Choosing paint colors for my home is so much harder than choosing one for someone else! I'm in the process of painting practically my whole main floor to lighter colors. So far I've painted one room. It takes me about 2 weeks to decide on a color after buying several samples and painting them on sheetrock boards or poster boards! Gotta love those small samples from SW or Valspar!
