I've been wanting to share with you a project I have been working on. I had an opportunity to redo an office in a neighboring city for an employment staffing business.
Here are some before pictures
We had to keep the carpet (ugh), but we could rip out cabinets and we were allowed to paint. The carpet is a blue gray and a goldish tan color and the logo for the company is navy. So we picked a blue brown and tan/gold color scheme.
We needed to have a reception area, a testing area, and a waiting "room". So we painted, we took out existing counters and built a new curved cherry one to greet clients as the come in. We shopped and we shopped.
Here is the result.
I must add that since this photo has been taken, the mirror in the above photo has been lowered to better fit the space.
My clients were very pleased with the result and we still have a few areas to finish up. There are 3 offices in the building, a break room and a conference room that have been painted and decorated too. I haven't been back to get all of the finished pictures. The owners will be sending them to me soon.

Very nice! I love those chairs. From what I can see of the counter that looks fab also! It can be a challenge sometimes working with what's already there.

Wow, the space looks fantastic! I love the fabric on the chairs and the shape of the couch too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a terrific job - if only more offices would embrace the idea of personalizing their decor instead of keeping as it as dull as a plain soda cracker ;D
ReplyDeleteHuge thanks for all of your wonderful comments, sweet friend, I hope that you have an absolutely beautiful week ahead!

Beautifully done, Debbie! It gives a whole new ambiance to the office. I bet they are happier during the day too! I'm so glad you signed up to follow my blog. It gave me the opportunity to find you here. You are #95, which means that you are still under 100 so you get 2 extra entries in addition to your entry. So far 3 -- I do love your blog!

This looks great! I'm loving the navy blue wall! And the mirrors you choose to hang on the walls fit really well. I like the one in the seating area. did you think of using some neat decor wall stickers to decorate the neutral wall a bit more?
ReplyDeleteWow, Deb, it looks awesome! It's amazing how you were able to draw the eye away from the carpet and onto those great chairs and furnishings! Great job!
