This and that

Just random thoughts rolling around in my mind today.
It has been a busy week and I have not had time to get that flooring post up as promised, so we will shoot for next week.
Today is Tiffany's (our oldest daughter) due date... wonder if I will a grandma today?
How did I get here? it seems like yesterday she was 2 and now she is going to be someone's mommy... weird
I have a new client the biggest home I have ever staged. Almost 4,000 sq ft ...YIKES
It is supposed to be 70 today I think spring may have finally sprung in the great Pacific Northwest
Getting ready to replace our carpet and flooring... why is it I can help everyone else decide but can't make up my own mind?
See full size imageI could keep going but would rather not bore you to tears so hope you have a lovely weekend!!
May God grant you always...A sunbeam to warm you,
a moonbeam to charm you,
a sheltering Angel so nothing can harm you.
Laughter to cheer you.
Faithful friends near you.
And whenever you pray, Heaven to hear you.

  1. Debbie, I am the same way about being able to help others decide, but it takes me forever to decide on my own. My longest record is over two years to decide which stone to use on our basement fireplace facade!
You must be soooo excited for that grandbaby to arrive! I trust you will be posting lots of photos when he or she does! Have a great weekend!

  2. I'm gazing out my window and thinking the very same thing. I believe spring is here. I often wonder why I love this part of the country so much since it's certainly not the rain, although rain really doesn't bug me, much :) Spring, summer and fall are amazing!

And now with this special spring brings a new life for you. I'm so excited for your new baby. Talk about a joyous time!

I found that the time right after the births my daughter really needed me in ways her husband didn't understand, since he'd never given birth. As she mended I was able to care for her, as she learned about each baby. Wonderful memories, now that I've been a grandma for two years with two new babies.

Can't wait to hear more good news. Hugs, Marla

  3. Here's hoping you are a Grandma by the weekend, Debbie! I agree ~ it seems like only yesterday I was dancing around with my 2-year-old to "Turn Around" {what a tear jerker that song is}, and I'll be joining the Grandma Ranks this Summer, too. Although, I may be in the room with her ~ yikes!

  4. Debbie, can't wait to see pics of your new grandbaby and hear all the news! Treasure this time my friend......There is nothing, and I mean nothing....like your daughter having a baby! Today is my oldest grandbaby and granddaughter's birthday. She is 6! I will never ever forget the morning she came into this world. What a miracle from God! There is just something about that sweet little someone new being a part of you! Nothing like being a Nana!!!!!! Just think....this is one of the times in your daughters life that she will be able to assist God in a miracle! Be blessed Debbie. Cindy

  5. All I can say is I know what you mean! My kids are all so grown up yet I still feel very young. I can't believe I have a 8 year old grandson.
I'm so excited for you! I can't wait for you all to be able to hold this precious baby God has in store for all of you! What a blessing!

    Have a great weekend!

  6. Oh beautiful words my friend! Love the pretty flowers:) It is always fun and much easier to make decisions for someone else's home. Maybe you should hire yourself and pretend it isn't your house! Great idea, right? HUGS! Have a blessed evening!

  8. Your going to be a great grandma to that lil' blessing!!! How fun and exciting for your entire family.

And a new gig huh? That sounds like a big task but one that I am most assuredly thinking you can handle and then some! It will be beautiful, I know it! :)

I've been back in the gym as you know and every day I was HGTV and now I've got the bug to do some DYIing around the house, too funny! It made me think of you!

Hope your weekend is filled with wonderful fun and great memories! Be blessed friend.

  10. I tried to help make you a grandma by taking Tiffany on a four-mile walk yesterday, but so far it does not appear to have helped. We'll try again tomorrow if necessary. :) So exciting!
