I got up as usual and went to the gym at 5AM, a bit miffed that my girlfriends didn't show up. (3 miles is a long walk on a treadmill with no girl talk) Only to come home to a Surprise birthday party put on by my wonderful daughters!! Guess where my girlfriends were : )? There was lots of food, fun, and friends and some presents too!! The house was decorated in streamers and black balloons and I was totally surprised!!I mean seriously, who would expect a surprise party at 6:30 in the morning!! ( they could have left out the "over the hill" banner). SO, all that to say maybe turning 50 isn't so bad after all. Yikes (am i really 50? )

Happy Birthday, Debbie! I hope you enjoyed yourself. You are a beautiful 50! : ) Just think, you were ahead of the game ~ you went to the gym BEFORE devouring any cupcakes!
