A change at home
This past weekend we moved these two little sweet twin daughters of ours into their own apartment in a city about 100 miles away from us. Kaitlyn (on left) will be starting college in Jan and Kara is a beautician and both are looking for Jobs in a the new city they live in. (Please pray they can get job asap)
As ready as I was for them to move on and get started in their new lives, it was unbelievably hard to leave them. (tears here). We had a blast though setting them up in their new apt and I will post pictures soon. We have company here for the next few days but I wanted to pop in and say hi and let you know what was happening in our home. Hope your Monday is blessed.

Wow, two moving out of the nest! I'm sure it is bittersweet. I'm glad you got a chance to rest up here in Seattle before the big moving weekend!
ReplyDeleteI will pray for your girls.
Our youngest son is getting ready to move to Kennewick to be an electricians apprentice. He will be the last of our children to leave the nest. Like I said, bittersweet.
Have a great week!
Robin~♥
I feel your tears! My oldest would love to be out on her own as she has always been very independent. My youngest will probably stay close to home, although she will probably go away to college for a couple of years. Between work and school, they are hardly ever here now anyway. Have been trying to get them all off at the same time for a vacation or short trip, but it is very difficult! Any suggestions on that?
ReplyDeleteOh I remember those days, fortunately my daughter moved out and back in several times:) Love to you and happy Monday! HUGS!
ReplyDeleteaaawww.. Debbie.. Hope you have a fabulous week.. i've got two little girls.. (7 & 5) and often worry about this moment and how I'll be without them... But you seem brave and well prepared.. Bless!! Hugs coming your way!! You will do just fine.. :-)
ReplyDeleteI bet it was hard! But they are both gorgeous and I am sure they will have no problems finding a job! Enjoy your company!
ReplyDeleteDebbie,
ReplyDeleteThey look like sweet daughters. We will keep your family in our prayers during this transition and new adventures.

Aww, Debbie, I'm sure this tugs at your heart-strings. I know what you mean about being ready for kids to leave, but being sad when they do :). Blessings, my friend.
ReplyDeleteI know, I know.
ReplyDelete"There are but two lasting bequests we can give our children. One is roots, the other, wings."
ReplyDeleteSorry I don't know who wrote this, but I love it.
Your girls are gorgeous! Cann't wait to see their new place. Praying things go well for them!
ReplyDeleteIt is difficult when your children leave home, do you still have one more daughter living at home or are you now 'empty nesters'?
