The highlight of course was grand baby Ezra. He will be 1 year old next week( I can't believe it ) so he is going all the time and all over the place.Like here where he was trying to help me with dishes.
Our local feed store had a "Chick Day" with all kinds of baby chicks and a petting zoo. We wandered over and let Ezra see all of the animals.
He seemed to really like this calf. Wish I had more pictures but they are on his mommy's camera. He kept wanting to poke the baby chicks in the eyes. We all cracked up when he went after one with his thumb and pointer finger looking like he wanted to pinch one. (I know we are sick) but it really was funny.

It definitely sounds like your weekend was a HUGE hit! Oh, my...those cookies look so sinful, but, oh, so GOOD! My girls used to play in the dishwasher like that, too!
ReplyDeleteThose cookies look so good, Debbie! He is too cute trying to help you do the dishwasher! I can't believe he's coming up on his first birthday already. Glad you had a good weekend with the fam. I had a full day Saturday and then tried to play with my Willow House stuff and other things, while doing laundry and recuperating from walking hunched over with Evalyse {because, of course, that's all she wants to do now is "walk"}!
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun! Those cookies look so yummy!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the perfect weekend! I can't believe he is one already. It seems like just last month you shared his birth with us!
ReplyDeleteThat is an adorable picture of Ezra "helping" with dishes, just adorable!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a great weekend with your family.
Those cookies look amazing!
ReplyDeleteWe got baby chicks last year - now they are grown and are our layers. So much fun :-)
